Where could I find some simple building ideas/instructions for things to construct using LEGO blocks?

My 5yr old son has just became interested in Lego blocks. Last week we bought him a large box of used Lego’s at a garage sale. He can put things together if he has a picture to see, but he does not have the creativity to think or plan things on his own yet. I would like to find him some simple building ideas using common blocks. Searching the web, I can only find instruction books for specific Lego sets, which he doesn’t have. He has a variety of very common blocks. The easier the better, he is just getting started. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
