If you look around a parking lot during the summer, you notice sun shades set up in the windshields of cars?
Explain how the sun shades help keep the inside of a car cool.
A windshield like any other piece of glass is not reflective , so the uv rays pour through and the heat inside the car actually builds higher than the outside air . If you will notice all those sun screens are not screens at all but rather something bright that will reflect the heat waves and the uv , thus keeping the car cooler . It is like parking your car in a shade . Your car will be cooler than in the sunshine
