Would Jerry Hardin make a good wizard in a Wizard of Oz remake?
I know Jerry Hardin would be perfect for the role of the wizard in a new Wizard Of Oz remake movie. He certainly could talk like the wizard. If you don’t remember him, he played as Mark Twain in Star Trek Shows. I hear people say that Robert Downey Jr. or Johnny Depp would make good wizards but I think Jerry Hardin would make a much better one. What do you think?.
It depends on what they make. The rumour is that they are tossing up between doing a straight remake of the 1939 movie or an updated, darker version with Dorothy as more of an action hero than damsel in distress. The whole cast changes depending on what version they make.
Jerry Hardin would be okay for the straight remake version but someone like Johnny Depp would be better for the darker version.
Personally I think they will make a hash of it regardless of what version they do.
