Why does my technology always fail on me? ?

Am I like, the bane of technology?

I got a motorola droid, the earphones don’t work. I’ve been through 4 pairs.
I got a Sony Vaio, the mic buzzes and system crashes. I’ve been through 2 so far.
I got a Lexmark pro805 printer, the printer blue screened during setup and won’t fix.
I got a guitar amp, it buzzed and I had to replace it.
(All within the last few months)

I’m a computer science major too! My stuff just ends up sucking for some reason. Do I just have a bad aura or something? Has anyone else had this problem?

There may well be something wrong with your electricity supply (voltage too high, too low, or too variable). See if the neighbours have similar problems. An electrician can analyse your supply, but a one time reading is insufficient; it would take a recording over many hours, or days. Check out your options re compensation. All technology fails eventually.
