I have been building sets in my garage for Independent Films, Where can I find more space to build bigger sets?
I am part of an independent film group who is looking to start some bigger projects. We have built a few sets in our little 2 car garages but the space is extremely limited (obviously).
I am wondering where I can go to build bigger sets, I am in the riverside (Moreno Valley) area, do people usually rent out some sort of comercial/industrial space for projects? I just need big open space that I can build in / film in. What can we do here? Thanks!
One of our earlier “mini sets” that we build in the garage, Because the space was so limited and the set had to be so small, it was hard to get good camera angles even with a wide angle lenses, the film was way to claustrophobic…

How can I find buildings that I can rent out? I am sure there are tuns in the riverside area, i just dont know where to look
Yes, people usually rent out space in commerical/industrial areas or go to mini studio lots (essentially the same thing but set up specifically for filmmaking).
